Shaken Grid 1.6 Released

Version 1.6 is now available for download. With this update comes a bundle of enhancements, additional features, and the usual bug fixes. Shaken Grid has come a long way since version 1.0 and I’d just like to thank everyone who has purchased it, I hope you are enjoying it!

What’s New?

The new gallery post format

A lot of people have been requesting gallery functionality for individual posts and it’s finally here! You can now upload multiple images per post and include them in your post’s lightbox. They will also be displayed on your single post page in a grid. View this post for more information regarding the new gallery post format.

Other major changes/additions:

Videos can now be embedded by simply copy and pasting the video URL
Overhauled theme options page (now found under the Appearance tab)
Now using Isotope instead of jQuery Masonry
A minimalistic post display option has been added

Hey, just upgraded to 1.6, it seems the animations aren’t working anymore, I´m guessing it has to do with the change to isotope, I notice that the animations aren´t working on your demo either (chrome&safari)

Can you add elastic videos:

I noticed that the videos don’t adjust width screen width. Also, is it possible to have regular pages use the gallery too, not just a blog post.? I wanted to use this as a portfolio with one page per client and various screen shots of the work with a similar layout to the blog post with the large image and then thumbs (are the thumbs adjustable?).

  The videos should be elastic in the latest release of Shaken Grid Premium (2.0). You can insert galleries into page content, however the “Gallery” post format isn’t available on pages.
