TweetHey folks! Some existing users of Shaken Grid (Premium) have expressed that they are having conflicts transitioning to the new theme options panel introduced in version 1.6.0. As a result, we have created a plugin that you can install and activate which will add the old Theme Options panel back to your WordPress sidebar.
You will also notice that there is now a submenu page called “Reset Options”, this is very important. We are releasing this plugin so that you can update your theme to the latest release (1.6.1) and transition your theme options to the new theme options panel (under Appearance → Theme Options). When you’ve made the transition, please go to the “Reset Options” page and click the Reset link. Your new theme options will stay where they are, while the old options page will be cleared out. When you’ve got everything transitioned over, feel free to delete the plugin.
Note: UPGRADE your theme before installing this plugin!

They will also be displayed on your single post page in a grid. View this post for more information regarding the new gallery post format.

TweetWe’ve been working hard putting together the new face of Shaken & Stirred and we’re happy to finally get this out in the wild. TweetThis one is targeted at a very niche audience — the people who have to write documentation for products. I came across the need for a documentation template awhile ago when I released my first two products (Shaken Grid and Shaken Tumble). I decided to create this WordPress theme to streamline the process and make the task of writing documentation a little less painful.
View the video demo above or the live demo to get a feel for what the theme is capable of. I built the theme to fulfill my requirements, which were very basic; a page for documentation with a simple way to navigate between sections, and a basic page template for simple pages like a Changelog.

TweetShaken Tumble will be the next theme that I will make available commercially on ThemeGarden, alongside my first theme, Shaken Grid. Shaken Tumble is a tumblog style theme that has similar functionality as Tumblr, allowing you to specify the format of your post (image, video, audio, etc).
One of many reasons is because WordPress can be independently hosted and you’re not stuck on Tumblr’s servers, which have become so well known for crashing all of the time. WordPress also gives you a ton more freedom when it comes to managing your content, as well as its extendability.
Stay tuned for more news regarding this theme. I plan on releasing it as soon as WordPress 3.1 is released, which should be right around the corner. And if you’re wondering what Shaken Tumble looks like, it’s the same theme I’m using on this blog. For now, check out the video demo above of the options available to you in the back-end of Shaken Tumble.
